The RM Campsite

Campsite Update - December 2011
We have responded to Mennonite Disaster Service
to let them know that outside of a miracle,
we can't purchase the property. We are not
closing the door to the camp; but freeing
MDS up to move forward with decisions thay
need to make regarding the property.
- We believe that Serving on the Gulf
Coast, and hosting short-term mission
teams is an important part of Relevant Ministry.
- We feel the asking price of $150,000 is
a fair price.
- We believe that as a young ministry, the
asking price is beyond our current means and
resources; however, we know and believe that
God can provide in the way He desires.
- We are interested in the campsite if God
miraculously provides.
- We are moving forward in scheduling teams
for short-term mission trips. We are seeking
God's direction during this time and looking
at creative options for hosting upcoming teams.
At this point we still have use of the camp
in Pass Christian through February.
This is an exciting time of discovering God's
will.
Pray along with us for God's plan and place
and provision!

The Relevant Ministry Campsite (owned by Mennonite Disaster Service)
is located in Pass Christian, Mississippi at 503 Church Avenue, just
one mile north of the beach.
The RM Campsite is used to house short-term mission teams while they
are serving on the Gulf Coast. Volunteer teams will experience both
spiritual and service-related projects - and help rebuild hope on the
Gulf Coast.
The facilities have two trailer dorms (one for men and one for women)
each equipped with bunk beds. Plus there is a double wide trailer lodge
that has three bedrooms as well as a spacious kitchen and eating area.
To schedule your week and make plans to bring a short-term
mission team to the Gulf Coast contact
us today.
The RM Campsite is rented from MDS
through February 2012.
