Nelson Roth Nelson is a student of the Bible and a gifted speaker and teacher with a message of hope for the future. Nelson has a genuine love for people and the ministry. Nelson has written Nehemiah Response a book about his Hurricane Katrina recovery experiences. Taking principles presented in the book of Nehemiah, Nelson builds a foundation in Nehemiah Response for anyone to use when working through a personal crisis or for strategic decision making. The book also is being used to help churches prepare for and respond to potential emergencies or disasters in their area. All sale proceeds go toward spiritual rebuilding initiatives along the Gulf Coast through Relevant Ministry. Nelson has a Graduate of Theology Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ministry and has served in associate and lead pastor roles in congregations in Missouri, Florida, and Illinois prior to coming to Gulfport, Mississippi. Nelson is the pastor of Gulfhaven Mennonite Church in Gulfport. Nelson and his wife Pam have been married over forty years. They have three children and eight grandchildren (six boys and two girls) from the ages of one to twenty years. When Nelson is not working or studying, he enjoys quality time with Pam and his family, gardening, and traveling. He also enjoys fishing and kayaking with his grandchildren. |

Relevant Ministry provides opportunities for church partners: to send interns for the experience of a lifetime on the Gulf Coast, to serve as short-term mission teams, and to support Relevant Ministry through prayers and financial support.
