Barbara Rippy:
Barbara was born and raised in central Ohio on the family farm. Barbara graduated from Riverside-White Cross School of Nursing and attended Indiana University in Richmond, Indiana.

Barbara moved to Gulfport, Mississippi in 1988; and after 37 years as a nurse, she decided to retire with her husband, Irvin, in the Gulfport area.

Barbara currently volunteers for the Gulfport Police Department, Feed My Sheep Ministry, and the Humane Society of South Mississippi. Barbara has been active in church life since she was a teenager. Barbara has served in leadership positions in the church. Currently, she co-teaches a Sunday School class for women, leads a senior ministry, and provides office support at her church.

Barbara brings administrative skills to the Board. Barbara has three daughters, two step-sons, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
