Internship Opportunities on the Gulf Coast

Interns come from those attending college/university, seminary or young adults...

Maybe you are still attending college or seminary and have a required internship to fulfill or you see the benefit of taking a year off from your classroom studies to experience hands-on service.

You may have graduated and are considering where the Lord is calling you. Right now, the Gulf Coast has many opportunities.

As a young adult discovering your career, you may be realizing that there is a "call" on your life to serve the Lord. What a great opportunity to experience hands-on ministry.

Meet our board...

Candi Hallam:
Candi has been a school counselor for 30 years, working with junior high and elementary age students; and has had occasions to serve parents, administrators and staff.

Candi graduated from Illinois State University with a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education. Candi is a National Association for Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) certified counselor.

Candi has taught Sunday School for adult women, facilitated small groups, helped to create a lay counseling ministry in a local church and continues to counsel outside the school setting when needed.

Candi recently wrote a book about restoring others. Her passion is to help people move forward in the knowledge that only God is our ultimate answer in all of life ’s situations.

Candi brings insight, care, and the ongoing support of individuals to the Board. Candi lives in a small town in Illinois with her dog Muffin. She is a Chicago Cubs fan, jogs to support her eating habits (chocolate and Fritos) and enjoys reading.

Candi's book "Restore Always" will be available in March 2009.
