Relevant Ministry
News
(February 13-14, 2009 - Mobile AL) Nelson spoke at the Annual
All-Unit MDS Meeting.
- A workshop on Disaster Preparedness
from a Local
Church Perspective - "Don't wait 'til it's time
to fill the bathtub!".
If a disaster came your way, how would your church respond?
The
local
church
can
be positioned
to
sustain itself during an emergency and to seize ministry opportunities
that follow. In this workshop, Nelson shares how to be ready
from his personal experiences as a pastor of a church that
went
through Hurricane Katrina
- And a message during a general assembly
time on The Need Now for Spiritual Rebuilding
Along the Mississippi Gulf Coast - "Is there a harvest
yet to come?". Could
it be that there is yet a harvest along the Gulf Coast?
Could
Hurricane Katrina, the nation's worst natural disaster,
turn out to be a blessing? Could a period of spiritual
rebuilding be the answer to reviving the health of churches
and ministries that experienced the devastation of Katrina?
God knows the answers to these questions. Pray for Relevant
Ministry and participate as God leads you.

through relevant and creative ministry,
in churches and ministries along the Gulf Coast.
